Paris and I …. was love at first sight, Paris is the city you will either just love or just hate…. there is no in between feeling about Paris. It’s elegance and glamour attracts all the dreamers and lovers…… the definition of lovers is not necessary the love between a man and a woman…. more the love a person has for life….. the passion for life….. visiting Paris definately awakened my passion for love… love for writing, love for life, love for wanting to be better person, love for French language …………
I was surprised how I just loved every thing about it, specially the beautiful Eiffel Tower
This beautiful Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It was named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, the genius behind the amazing structure. This beautiful Tower stands tall and proud, 324 metres (1,063 ft), almost the same height as a 80 storey building. The base of this Tower is square, 125 metres (410 ft). Eiffel Tower was constructed in 1889 for the entrance to the 1889 World’s Fair.
The Tower has 3 floors, The most popular one been the second floor, First floor is probably only 2 stories lower but the third story is about 79 stories up from the second floor. The first floor has a transparent floor, and a panoramic view over Paris. The View from the second floor is to die for, you can take a lift or the stairs. The experience of been on top of the world is just priceless.
Standing under this beautiful lady of steel, I can not describe the feeling. The true meaning of passion and commitment, the city has spent a lot of money and time keeping this Iconic Tower in a great shape, A lot of money is spent yearly maintaining it. It is the most visited Tower in the world.
Eiffel Tower – dinner time – view from my hotel room
After the Sunsets, this Tower glows like a candle on a cake.
Eiffel Tower by night
After night this magical tower sparkles in golden light, when there is a special occasion the colour of the lights changes to celebrate the occasion, e.g. Christmas. The guests are allowed to visit the Tower at night as well, the day tour of the tower is amazing but the night tour is just mesmerising. The light makes you feel so welcome and and the views are breathtaking of Paris all lighten up. Doesn’t matter how many times in the day or night I see the Eiffel Tower, I am just mesmerised by it every single time…… mmmmmmmmmmmm
