SELF DISCOVERY THROUGH SOLO TRAVEL

What a fantastic topic, don’t you agree? When you really think about it, everything starts from me, from myself, from I.  The truth is our life is a journey, and we are all on different paths. Your path is different from mine. We choose to add people to our lives, or you can say we allow few people to walk with us on our life’s journey. But you should never change your path, and those people can leave when the path changes for them, but you should keep continuing to pursue your life’s purpose even if that means you are walking alone.

My story, I have always known that I was destined to be someone who is going to help people in a big, massive way. I have always helped people in my past without even trying to. After getting rid of all the negative emotions that were holding me back from living my dream, I am ready to help who ever needs my help.

I am so excited to share with you my passion for Travel and Love for living a fulfilling life.

Travel Agra in India on a solo travel adventure.

Let me start by explaining what Negative emotions mean. Yes, What is negative emotions. Google says,” Negative emotions can be described as any feeling which causes you to be miserable and sad. These emotions make you dislike yourself and others and take away your confidence. Emotions that can become negative are pain, anger, hurt, guilt, jealousy, and sadness.”

We all feel sadness and anxiety from self-critical thoughts. Mine was always; I am not good enough, I am not strong enough, I am not …. the list went on and on. How many of you can relate to this?

You know when you get conditioned to these thought patterns, it’s like these thoughts just settled in comfortably in my mind, watching tv, eating popcorn, drinking wine and have a party – they just made themselves at home. Because I allowed these thoughts to live in my mind permanently.

I didn’t realize I was slowly dying inside.

Yes, my emotions affect my health. Your emotions affect your health.  Negative emotions weaken your bodies immune system.  You constantly complain about back pain, change in appetite, chest pain, extreme tiredness, general aches, and pains, headaches, high blood pressure, insomnia (trouble sleeping), lightheadedness, palpitations (the feeling that your heart is racing), sexual problems, shortness of breath, stiff neck, sweating, upset stomach and weight gain or loss.

Also, when you are feeling stressed, anxious, or upset, you may not take care of your health as well as you should. You may not feel like exercising, eating nutritious foods, or taking medicine that your doctor prescribes. You are more likely to abuse alcohol, smoke, do drugs or anything for that matter to numb your pain.

So What are Positive Emotions?

Dr. Fredrickson describes it best: “Unlike other emotions that arise out of comfort and safety, hope springs out of dire circumstances, as a beacon of light. Deep within the core of hope is the belief that things can change, turn out better. Possibilities exist. Hope sustains you and motivates you to turn things around.”

The positive emotions are fulfillment, Inspiration, happiness,  Love, Laughter, and Gratitude.

From my own experience, I have learned no amount of positive thinking will bring you positive emotions, no about of self-help books will getting rid of the negative emotions that you have been carrying with you since childhood.

If you are looking to change your life and live a life of unlimited possibilities – you will need to learn how to reprogram your mind to process all you feel,  all you hear, all you smell, all you taste, and which helps you see the glass half full then half empty.

I started my journey as a solo travel to get myself out of my comfort zone, then I started the jouney of self discovery and now after 10 years of being on this jouney of self develpment, self love … I now host retreats all around the world. Mastering the Art of Self Discovery. I would like to invite you to join me. For more information click HERE

#Travelquote:“The beginning of love is the will to let those we love be perfectly themselves, the resolution not to twist them to fit our own image. If in loving them we do not love what they are, but only their potential likeness to ourselves, then we do not love them: we only love the reflection of ourselves we find in them” ― Thomas Merton, No Man Is an Island
