GIVE YOURSELF THIS GIFT …
I started on this journey as a Solo Traveler and Travel Blogger, while on the road I met a lot of other solo travelers who were either just separated from there partners or where let go from their job. Or they were just merely running away from their life in search for something, but they did not know what they were looking for or what they wanted from life.
Are you one of these people, you are looking for something but don’t know what? Is it more money? Is it love? Is it better health? Is it fulfilling life? Is it happiness?
My passion for Solo traveling evolved over the years from traveling to also now helping people travel through life and the world with confidence.
My mission is to help people to move there mindset from a negative state to good mental health / positive state.
The reason, I am so passionate about this topic is because, Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Fear is destroying our well being. The suicide rate is increasing all over the world. Over 65,000 Australians make a suicide attempt, and more than 3,000 Australians died by suicide in 2017. I feel so sad to pick up a newspaper, a magazine or watch the news and hear what the lack of Self-Love, Self-Awareness, and Education is doing to our society and people.
YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO GIVE YOURSELF THESE FIVE THINGS AS A GIFT …
(1) Spend Time In Solitude
People say to me how you can say being alone is fun? This is a mindset.If you are comfortable in your own skin, you will not be afraid to spend time alone. Solo travel is the best for Solitude.
(2) Stop Competing With Others.
You are your only competition. Work on improving yourself. If you spend every waking moment on improving who you are and what you want, then you will not have time to compare and compete with others.
(3) Know Your Self-Worth.
Stop pleasing everyone around you and start pleasing yourself. Remember there is a big difference in Self Worth and Selfish. Self-worth comes from a place of Love and acceptance, and Selfish comes from a place of pain, anger and entitlement – ego driven. If you continually seek outside for approval and validation, you will never be happy.
(4) Fill Your Heart With Love.
You don’t attract what you WANT in your life; you attract what you ARE.
If you let go of all negative emotions and clear your mind, your heart opens to love, and then you attract all the beautiful things into your life in abundance. Positive thinking and law of attraction do not work if your mind and heart are full of pain, hurt, anger, sadness, regret, and guilt.
(5) Be In Control Of Your Thoughts.
Your thoughts should not control you. Learn to Focus on what you want. If you focus on the Bad, that’s all you will see and attract. BUT if you focus on the Good, that’s all you will see and attract into your life.
I have been lucky enough to meet people from different parts of the world through my traveling, one thing I can say for sure is every one of us is chasing the same thing – HAPPINESS AND FULFILMENT.
What if I tell you, you can stop chasing because all that you need is already within you. All you need to do is 30 mins a day of stillness, or meditation. I promise you before you know it you will discover that you do have access to Happiness, Love, Abundance, and Limitless opportunities.
No more IF. If I find a right partner then I will be happy, If I lose weight then I will be happy, If I get more money, then I will be happy. NO – NO -NO ……….. STOP!!!!
It does not work that way, if you are one of these people, I can guarantee you, you will never find true happiness.
If I can get one person at a time to start taking 100% responsibility for his or her actions, get one person at a time to discover self-love without conditions, I am convinced I will be able to start a positive change.
